A special set of jewels was
needed to symbolize the glamour and prestige of the Galaxy InternationalT Pageant. The Galaxy Grand Crown
had to be a
powerful, impressive jewel able to instantly transform its wearer into royalty.
Coronation, Inc. staff reviewed hundreds of photos of royal jewelry.
Inspiration was found in the jewels of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna of the
Romanov family. The
splendor and drama of the Romanovs and the nostalgia of the pageant founder's
own Russian cultural heritage
"clicked" - the Galaxy Grand Crown was
destined to be a replica of the Romanov Jewels.
With only a small photo to guide the design
process, Coronation, Inc. contacted
Tiara Enterprises
with a challenge to recreate the chosen piece.
A few
artistic
liberties were taken but the integrity of the design was
maintained.
"The Galaxy
International Grand CrownT is a symbol of quality that is the
legacy of the Galaxy International PageantT," stated Dr. Lori
Sikorszky, President/CEO of Coronation, Inc.
Pageantry Magazine (Fall 2001 edition) described the Galaxy Grand
CrownT as "The Regal Thing", denoting the authentic royal
influence of the design. (Visit the Media section to view the

David Lawrence, publisher of
Supermodels Unlimited International Magazine (Holiday 2002 edition) went on record to
say, "To me, the Galaxy Grand Crown is unforgettable.
Beautiful is an understatement. The Galaxy Grand Crown is a
true masterpiece." (Visit the

A smaller version of the Grand Crown was constructed for Galaxy delegates. Additional designs, also inspired by the jewels of the Romanovs,
have been created to allow delegates the opportunity to select the
crown of their choice.
The most recent addition to the Galaxy Jewel Collection is a
necklace, earring, and brooch set which matches the Galaxy Grand Grown.
