Emphasizing beauty, style, and cultural appreciation, the Galaxy International Pageant® is a personal development opportunity for women of all nations.  The delegates who become part of the Galaxy International Pageant® gain confidence and poise in an increasingly competitive world.  The pageant affords each delegate the opportunity to grow and advance her personal and career goals while acting as a role model in her community.

Areas of Competition


The Galaxy International Pageant® is a traditional beauty pageant for women of all nations who are ages 14-older. Areas of competition include:  Photogenic, Private Interview, Fashion, Swimsuit, and Evening Gown.  Each area of competition is equally weighted at 20%.  Finalists will answer an on-stage question for bonus points.



Galaxy Pageants, Inc. relies heavily upon international advertising in industry publications and the internet to promote the Galaxy International Pageant®.  Therefore, titleholders must possess photogenic appeal and ability to project an image consistent with beauty and elegance. Photo requirements:


Color photo of your choice

* At least 5X7, no larger than 8X10

* Formal attire (e.g., cocktail dress, evening gown, dressy pants outfit, "after 5")

* May be in either a seated or standing position.

* Must be of good quality and clarity.

Must submit a copyright release if required by her photographer. 

* Airbrushing should be kept to a minimum.  You should look like your photo.

* Judging criteria:  photogenic appeal, photo quality and clarity, beauty of face and figure, personality, grooming and fashion sense.


Former Photogenic Winners:




Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must be articulate with excellent social and conversational skills. Titleholders must be able to express themselves clearly, diplomatically, and must project a pleasant personality at all times.

Interviews are conducted panel style for a duration of 5 minutes.  Focuses primarily on delegates' personal information (e.g., hobbies, ambition, etc.) but may include opinion questions that require general knowledge of social and current events.

Wear a dress, cocktail suit, or pantsuit for the interview competition.

Judging criteria:  conversational skill, personality, demeanor, beauty, grooming, and fashion sense.


Galaxy Interview




Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must exemplify a lifestyle of good physical, emotional and intellectual health.  Winners should be physically fit, with good muscle tone and body proportion.  Galaxy International™ titleholders must carry themselves with confidence and grace.

Delegates will model a 1-piece or 2-piece swimsuit.

Swimsuit may have cut-outs, mesh, and/or embellishments.

Judging criteria:  fitness, modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense


Galaxy Swimsuit




Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must be able to project their own personal sense of style. This segment will be conducted very much like a runway fashion show. Fashion attire can be anything the delegate feels represents a currently popular or stylish ensemble. Judges will be looking for high energy, spirit, and the delegate's sense of contemporary style for today's woman. Judges are not looking for a specific style or designer label but rather how well the attire suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate’s on-stage presentation.  Competition details:


* Attire is dressy-casual and may be a dress or pants outfit - NO FULL-LENGTH EVENING GOWNS should be worn as Fashionwear!
* Delegates are encouraged to accessorize with earrings, jackets, hats, gloves, etc.
* Bare midriffs are acceptable but must be tasteful and complement size and figure.
* Very casual attire (e.g., shorts, jeans, dockers) is not recommended.

Judging criteria:  modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.


Galaxy Fashionwear




Galaxy International Pageant® titleholders must carry themselves with dignity, grace, poise and elegance.  Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate's on-stage presentation.

* Evening gown must be floor length.
* Teens are permitted to wear sophisticated, beaded gowns.

Judging criteria:  modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense.


Galaxy Gown




Each delegate will have the opportunity to earn up to 5 bonus points. For each appearance a delegate makes, she will earn half a point (.50). However, she must make a minimum of 5 appearances before the bonus points go into effect. A total of 15 appearances will give you the 5 bonus points.
